September 2022 Swap Meet (Outdoor)

The Vintage Radio & Communications Museum’s September 2022 swap meet is fast approaching. The meet will be held on Saturday, September 17th, 8 am to 1 pm. Each meet we have had, since Covid has loosened its grip, has been getting bigger and bigger.

Weather permitting, it will be an outdoor, tailgate affair. If there is inclement weather, we will move inside the museum in our multi-purpose room. We will have a live DJ and a special attraction of a 1953 Silver Streak “Clipper” trailer with a California style mirror shine.

The museum as well as the trailer will be open for tours all day long. This event is fun for people of all ages. The adults reminisce about radios and TVs they grew up with and the young kids are amazed at what communications technology looked like in the past.

The event is free to the public and there is a small fee for those who wish to set up and sell.  The museum is located at 115 Pierson Lane in Windsor, Connecticut in the historic section of town near the Farmington River.

There are many wonderful eating establishments in the area, so come on down and make a day of it.   For more information call the museum at 860-683-2903 or send an email to radioclctr@aol.com.
