On December 11, 2021, members from the Antique Wireless Association, ARRL, Radio Club of America, and Vintage Radio & Communications Museum of CT collaborated in tribute to the 1921 Transatlantic Tests and the successful sending of the first message ever to span the Atlantic by an amateur radio station, 1BCG, using short waves.
